What is an inverter?

The inverter is an important device in the security electronic equipment (computer, industrial, telecommunication etc...)

Its main mission is to to take over the sector when a power failure occurs. Its batteries supply the equipment connected to the inverter, thus leaving the users time to save their work in progress and to turn off the equipment concerned and this during the declared period autonomy of the inverter.

Role of the inverter :

An inverter shall ensure not only continuity of the supply of electricity to the devices, but also to ensure that the power is of good quality. A power outage is not the only incident an inverter must deal with. The filtering, as well as the voltage regulation, are also part of the important functions to be provided.

PC

Line Interactive Technology

Line Interactive Technology is used to protect PCs against power outages and over-voltage. The inverter has an automatic voltage regulation system that guarantees the distribution of good quality power to your devices.

The automatic voltage regulation system is an improvement over the old off-line technology, which allows us to control the output voltage and to have a protection against important voltage variations.

The X1, X2, X3 and X4 range ensures the distribution to your connected devices of a quality current during important variations and without soliciting the batteries whose lifespan is dependent on the number of cycles of charge / discharge.

In the event of a power failure, the UPS switches to battery mode with a switching time.

Data

On-Line Double Conversion Technology

On-Line Double Conversion Technology is used to protect and ensure the continuity of service of servers, corporate networks, sensitive applications and in industrial environments under all circumstances.

This technology ensures an excellent level of electrical security for your sensitive strategic loads regardless of mains disturbances.

Thanks to this technology the load to be protected is isolated from the mains, therefore the Online double conversion inverters guarantee a total protection and a perfect sinusoidal current at the output with a zero switching time avoiding micro cuts.

Communication and monitoring via USB, RS232 and SNMP card are recommended. The different communication interfaces allow the inverters to be supervised and controlled remotely with the InfoPower software.

In the event of a power failure, the InfoPower software will save the data and automatically close all programs in complete safety.

In unstable or demanding environments, INFOSEC's online range offers the possibility of adding battery extension modules for extended autonomy.
